I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and attended college at the University of Wisconsin Madison and medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I trained in general pediatrics at the University of Texas-Southwestern in Dallas and returned to Chicago to work in a small group private pediatric practice since 2001.
I've had the honor to serve as the Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Advocate Condell Medical Center from 2012 through 2018.
It is such a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with children and their parents everyday. Watching children grow from wide-eyed curious newborns to functional young adults, ready to take on the challenges of the world, and helping them navigate the road in between, is a unique and rewarding experience. I believe in the philosophy of a Medical Home, a patient-centered approach to care in which the primary care pediatrician serves a source of comprehensive care including preventive and wellness care, acute care, and management and coordination of chronic care. Kenosha pediatrics is an ideal place to offer this type of care to provide patients access to high quality, comprehensive care in one centralized location.
I strongly believe in the value of wellness and preventive care. In addition to monitoring your child's growth and development during annual check-ups, I also dedicate time discussing age appropriate topics with patients and their care givers to promote general wellness and safety.
Out of the office, I enjoy spending my free time at home with my wife and two sons. Together we enjoy biking forest preserve trails, going on walks with our dog, and road trips to neighboring states to visit local attractions.
