Though I was raised in the western suburbs of Chicago, I was a Wisconsinite at heart from early on, attending University of Wisconsin football games with my family throughout childhood. Becoming a Badger myself in college, I fell in love with Wisconsin as an undergraduate student. Following medical school, my significant other, RJ, and I were elated to move here for our residency training, and we have been enthusiastic Milwaukee residents ever since. We even decided to hold our wedding here in Milwaukee, hosting both of our families in the city we now call home. I can't imagine a better community in which we can look forward to starting a family of our own.
I feel so lucky to have completed my residency training at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. The commitment to providing excellent care is evident every day at Children's, and it was an easy decision to stay in the Children's Medical Group family as I enter practice. Joining the Bayshore Pediatrics group, I know I am signing on to a practice that is deeply rooted in their community and values their relationships with the families they serve. I hope to match the dedication and joy they bring to caring for their patients every day.
Besides how awesome it is to work with kids, I love Pediatrics because it is a specialty in which a physician works on a team every single day -- with the parent or caretaker of the kids we care for. It is this partnership that motivates me not only to provide excellent care to children, but to work with families to come to a shared understanding of how we can best help their smallest, most treasured members. It is an honor to have even the smallest input in a family's experience raising a child, and to take care of children in the city I've come to call home.
