Thank you for all you do – a message from Peggy Troy
I have always thought the best times are when we're with our loved ones and can take a moment to reflect on what we are most thankful for. This year as the holidays approach, I'd like to share just a few of the things I am most grateful for.
My family: My husband and two grown children are a source of great joy in my life. We have been blessed in so many ways, and I am grateful for their steady presence and love.
The caregivers at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin: From the bedside to clinics and the community beyond, each of you makes a huge difference in the lives of kids who need us. I hear so many stories of your passion and dedication and how you bring our values – Purpose, Collaboration, Integrity, Health and Innovation – to life every day. I am grateful that you have chosen to be part of the Children's team.
The communities we serve: So much of our work is made possible because of the many people who have chosen to support us with their gifts of time and treasure. I'm grateful to every individual and organization that partners with us and supports our work.
This week as I celebrate Thanksgiving with my family, I will think of these things - and many more. I will think of you, and the thousands of kids you care for. I am honored and grateful to be part of an organization that makes such a difference in the lives of so many.
I wish you and your families a happy and healthy Thanksgiving and wonderful holiday season. Thank you for all you do every day to make Children’s Hospital such a special place.
