Family-centered care
As pediatric physiatrist at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin we do not focus on disease but quality of life and function. We get to know our patients and families. We strive to make their dreams a reality, and work closely with families, other specialists, therapists, equipment vendors, schools, and organizations to get the best outcomes possible for our patients.
We see children who are not meeting their age-expected milestones due to a condition they were born with or as a result of an illness, accident or injury. We are dedicated to helping children realize their potential and preparing them for the challenges ahead.
Team-based approach
You and your family will benefit from the team-based approach to care you will receive at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Your child’s care may require the input of other specialists such as orthopedists, neurologists or surgeons. At Children’s, all specialists are on-site, which means we can consult as a team for better results and better care.
We aim to provide a smooth continuum of care for your child, both inside and outside Children’s. That is why we work with a variety of specialists, therapists, equipment vendors, schools and organizations in the outside community to get the best outcomes possible for your child.
Children with cerebral palsy
A diagnosis of cerebral palsy is life-changing for families. Our team understands this and provides the best care. We offer the services and support the whole family needs to lead full, active lives.
