Our Goal is to be "Cured out of Existence."
Founded in 1976, Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc. (the MACC Fund) is dedicated to funding childhood cancer and related blood disorder research.
— The MACC Fund
"We dream of a day when children and their families won't face the fear and uncertainty of a cancer diagnosis. We're working to accelerate the search for cures for childhood cancer and provide support for families fighting the disease."
— Northwestern Mutual Foundation
Your child and your family is in the best of hands — with a nationally ranked medical and research team working together to provide the best treatment plan, the best long-term health care strategy, and the most supportive and compassionate whole-family care.
It is our duty of care to stand behind you and beside you, helping you navigate this emotional and difficult journey.
Right by our side are two of our staunchest allies in this area of care — the MACC Fund and Northwestern Mutual — both committed to helping end pediatric cancer. The Northwestern Mutual Day Hospital lives inside the MACC Fund Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital in a perfect embodiment of our connected mission. While The MACC Fund supports critical research that drives better treatments, Northwestern Mutual — in its goal to help cure childhood cancer while providing relief for children and families battling the disease — has provided a space that provides relief, comfort and distraction from the difficulties of treatments.
We are deeply grateful to these two iconic Milwaukee organizations for their gifts of care and commitment, and to the countless benefactors who join in generous support of our mission to help children and families affected by childhood cancer and blood disorders… until we find a cure.
Thanks to the Northwestern Mutual Day Hospital in our MACC Fund Center, children like Hailey are now able to receive the best possible care in a comfortable, open outpatient setting.
