Become a patient

Deciding where to seek treatment for your child's gastroenterology or hepatology issues can be difficult and stressful. The range of options, including new and experimental treatments, can be hard to figure out. We want to make it as easy as we can.

In addition to world-class care, we provide many resources for patients and their families. We want your journey to be as smooth as possible, given the difficult circumstances.

Request an appointment

You or your child's doctor can make an appointment with one of our pediatric gastroenterology specialists. There are two ways to request an appointment:

Your child's primary care doctor can refer your child to our Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program as a new patient if he or she:

  • Is an older child or adolescent with rectal bleeding, significant weight loss or failure to grow who may have IBD
  • Has had abnormal lab and imaging (X-ray) results that may suggest IBD
