Eighteenth Annual Dave & Carole Miracle Marathon for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin will broadcast live on 96.5 WKLH Thursday-Friday, May 21-22
March 16, 2015
The Dave & Carole Miracle Marathon for Children’s Hospital is Thursday-Friday, May 21-22. Broadcast live from the lobby of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, this two-day radiothon, hosted by 96.5 WKLH’s Dave Luczak and Carole Caine, is an annual fundraising tradition held before Memorial Day weekend. The radiothon is one of the hospital’s largest community-wide fundraisers. Miracle Marathon highlights the numerous Children’s Hospital’s programs and services that impact the health of thousands of kids in our community each year by sharing the personal stories of patient families, hospital physicians, leaders and staff members.
“Miracle Marathon gives us the opportunity to shed light on the truly top-notch care Children’s Hospital provides to families in this community and around the nation,” said WKLH’s Dave Luczak. “The children and families we interview over the two days exemplify the expert and compassionate care provided by Children’s Hospital staff. They inspire us to make that pledge that makes a difference. We strive to hit that $1.5 million dollar mark this year. The kids are depending on us.”
Listeners who wish to pledge their support for Children’s Hospital can call a live volunteer phone bank or donate online. Donors become part of the Miracle Club by making a gift of $25 or more per month.
