Giving kids the best for 125 years

Giving kids the best for 125 years

Here for kids since 1894

From horse and buggy days through epidemics and miraculous medical advances, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin has been delivering the specialized care and support kids need to live healthier, happier lives.

Over the past 125 years, a lot has changed. But our desire to bring children the best care and the brightest future remains the same. Every day in every possible way, we’re here for kids.

125 years and counting

Like our founders, we dream of a healthier, happier future for all children.

For 125 years, Children’s has been 100 percent focused on bringing the very best care to kids. Now, we’re preparing for a whole new generation of exceptional care.

Guided by our mission and vision, we’ve mapped out a strategy to continue to provide the most advanced, innovative and effective pediatric care.

As we move forward, we’re focused on what matters most to kids and families and ensuring that care is convenient, affordable and provides the best outcomes.

With better access to care close to home, digital tools to connect with families and more affordable options, we are working every day to support total well-being for kids.

We’ve come a long way since our story began. From 60 kids served our first year to 2 million annual touch points today, Children’s continues to provide the best care for all kids.

We wouldn’t be where we are today without generous support from the communities we serve. Individual donors helped raise the funds for our first hospital—and even provided food and clothing for the kids in our care. Today, individuals, families and corporate donors continue to help us help kids by funding programs, facilities, research and more.
